Last updated October 24, 2026. This notice covers tampabayroofingdirectory.com and the roof estimate request form.
What we collect
When you send a roof estimate request we store what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the type of property and roof problem, your timing, and any details you add. We also record the time you agreed to be contacted.
Like most websites, our server keeps short technical logs of page requests, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and to block abuse. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
A person reads each request and may contact you by phone or email about it. We use your details only for that request. We do not sell them.
Requests are not automatically shared with roofers. If we ever want to pass your request to a contractor, we will ask you first.
Services that handle it
The site and its database are hosted on DigitalOcean servers in the United States. When a request arrives, a copy is emailed to our reviewer through Amazon Simple Email Service. These providers process the data only to run those services for us.
How long we keep it
Requests are deleted automatically 180 days after they are sent. Database backups are kept for 30 days, so a deleted request can remain in a backup for up to 30 more days before it is gone.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your request sooner, or to tell you what we hold about you, by replying to any email we send you about your request. If we haven't contacted you yet, send the request form again with the same email address and write "delete my request" in the details. We may need to confirm it is you before we act on it.
Changes
If we change how requests are used, for example to share them with a roofer, we will update this page and the request form before we do.
